  • Know your Qualities
  • Ask God what he thinks of you
  • Work on your weaknesses
  • Share the feedback on Social Media
  • Become more compassionate towards yourself
  • Know It gets better
  • You win in life

As the bullying becomes more severe, I know that some of you—astral souls—may feel you have no choice but to quit. I’m rooting for you to make the decision to prioritize and protect your mental health. Sometimes, it’s better to quit than to try to make something work that adds no value to your future and only drains you, keeping you from a better time ahead.

I want you to know that I understand quitting your job due to bullying is not a decision taken lightly. Bullying scars you. It changes you. It can make you more guarded and uncertain about what your next workplace environment might be like. That uncertainty can create intense anxiety.

And that’s why it’s even more important to be gentle and kind to yourself before you start looking for another job.

Overcoming the self-doubt that bullying plants in you will lead to a stronger understanding of your worth—and that self-awareness will help you bring your A-game to your next workplace.

1. Keep reminding yourself of your qualities

Quitting a job after severe bullying experiences is exhausting. It Impacts you emotionally, mentally, physically, psychologically. It has Career Consequences, as Workplace bullying can have long-lasting effects on a person’s career. One develops Interpersonal Difficulties as Bullying can strain relationships with colleagues and supervisors. It may create a hostile work environment where teamwork and collaboration are compromised. Victims may isolate themselves or have difficulty trusting others. Consult a professional coach and talk about your experiences. Sharing the load of self-doubt you have burdened yourself will leave you feeling lighter.

2. Ask God what he thinks of you

If you believe in God, a superpower, the universe or yourself, ask yourself what you think of yourself. Are you anything that these bullies are saying about you? You know the answer. If the answer is NO. Keep believing in all the good you have in you and do not waste time justifying anything to anyone.

You have one life and a minimal time. Please do not waste it on people who do not care for you. Believe in yourself. Celebrate that you are not stuck anymore and that your pond of opportunity never runs out.

You learned from this experience, and your approach towards your next Workplace will be way better than it was .

3. Work on your weaknesses

To add more confidence to your personality after facing a traumatic bullying experience.

Utilize the healing time from a traumatic workplace environment to learn something new.

If you know your weaknesses, for example -you know that you are a people pleaser, do not read red flags, are over-emotional, get easily influenced, and need more confidence to stand up for yourself.

Work on these weaknesses and develop new skills to be more well-equipped to overcome any adverse situation in your future endeavours.

4. Share the feedback on social media platforms about your Workplace

Sharing feedback in an exit interview, social media, or any workplace website is necessary. You do not have to post it with your name, but post as and when possible. It helps a lot of people. You will be surprised to know how your feedback can save so many people’s career sabotage. Think of it like a responsibility and do it as if it is a deed that will never go to waste.

You know how workplace bullying can make people think of finishing their lives. You know how severe it is. So do your bit and spread awareness on it through different communication channels. I chose to write this article to do my bit.

5. Become more compassionate towards yourself

You are smart, intelligent and worthy of everything you have earned and desired. You do not have to dumb down to fit in and dim your light to please incompetent peers or leaders at your Workplace. Include mental exercises in your routine to approve of yourself and remind yourself of your worth and value. Affirmations and mirror talks are a great way to boost your confidence.

Once you approve of yourself, you will not seek approval from others. Self-approval puts you in a powerful position. I have a file in which I keep all my awarded certificates, medals and notes of achievements. I visit it to remind myself how capable and valuable I am. I call my mentors, who guide me to my best self. Join a community of like-minded people and mentors. Be where you are appreciated.

6. Know that it will get better

The most critical healing phase is knowing that it will get better. It always does. The reason is you grow, and so do your outlook and perspective toward your work life. I remember how I was always about work and work my entire life. I hit a phase in my life that pushed me to rethink and understand how valuable my time is and how I must find a balance.

I am not my work, and I have this whole life and support system that I am missing out on. A support system that fully accepts me for who I am and values my time more than anywhere else in the world. Since then, it got better for me. I had difficult days, but I understand that and knowing it gets better has always pushed me to think this way and do better with my time.

7. You win as you will be kinder and more successful in life

The best part about quitting and healing from a bullying workplace is knowing what not to do and how not to treat people in your future Workplace.

When the day comes, you become the leader you were always born to be. You will be a better leader and become a source of inspiration to others. Success comes to those who are persistent. Be persistent with your kindness and lead by example.

I wrote this article to spread awareness on how you are not alone if you have been bullied at your workplace, what is workplace bullying, and What you need to do after experiencing severe bullying and quitting your workplace? and how to beat workplace bullying like a boss.

I am here to give a big shout-out to all the badass souls facing this problem every day.

I hope my words help you, and remember, No job in this world is worth your beautiful life. You will outgrow these bullies and do great things with your life. Just keep at it.

Love
